Can We Review Photos Before Others See Them?
Yes. We understand the family may wish to see what's been shared before it's visible to everyone, and there are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Approve each photo (content moderation)
When content moderation is turned on, new photos and videos wait for the family's approval before they appear in the gallery.
- While waiting, a photo is only visible to the person who shared it and to the family.
- Guests will see a message that their photo is awaiting approval.
- To review, go to Manage Media in your host dashboard. You can select one or several items and choose Approve or Reject.
- Approved photos appear in the gallery for everyone. Rejected photos are removed completely.
Option 2 — Hide the gallery for now
In Manage → Manage Settings, switch off Allow guests to view the gallery. People can still share photos, but they'll only see their own. When you're ready, switch it back on so everyone can view the gallery.
Private albums
On the Medium and Large plans, you can also set an album to Private, so only those given that album's QR code or link can see it.
