Why Is There a Delay After Tapping 'Add' on iPhone?

On iPhone, selecting several photos or videos can cause a short pause after tapping Add. The pause is up to about a second per photo, or up to three seconds per video.

This happens because Honorpix keeps the original, full-quality version of every photo and video for the family. iPhones often store photos in a format (HEIC) that takes a moment to prepare before it can be shared.

Tap Add once and wait a few moments. The upload will continue on its own.
